好多人一直都習慣用普通紙 Tips，甚至摺張卡紙就已經當 Filter。今次就由最傳統嘅紙 Tips 開始，睇下幾種常見 Filter 喺過濾、氣流、阻力同口感上有咩分別，同埋應該點揀。

☁️ TIP ≠ FILTER

唔係每一種 Filter 都真正以「過濾」為主要功能。

紙 Tips 主要定形同阻隔碎屑；玻璃 Tips 著重氣流同重複使用；活性炭 Filter 則進一步過濾及吸附部分有害物質。傳統棉 Filter 亦有基本過濾作用，但一直極少人用。

Filter 嘅粗幼同結構亦會影響 Draw 同阻力，所以揀 Filter 唔只睇過濾，氣流、口感同味道同樣有分別。

☁️ 紙 TIPS｜最傳統・最多人用

代表：RAW / BLAZY SUSAN

紙 Tips 最大優點係簡單、方便同成本最低，而且容易控制形狀同粗幼。

款式有唔同寬度、尺寸同形狀，部分更有預捲設計，可以按照唔同捲法選擇。

主要作用係定形同阻隔較大碎屑入口，本身並不著重過濾功能。

☁️ ACTIVATED CARBON｜將「過濾」放到更重要位置

代表：PURIZE

PURIZE 活性炭 Filter 利用椰殼活性炭進一步過濾，吸附部分有害物質及雜質，同時減低入口刺激感，將 Filter 真正嘅過濾作用放到更重要位置。

Many people start with simple paper tips, but different filter styles can noticeably change filtration, airflow, draw resistance and mouthfeel. Here’s a quick comparison of the most common options.

Not every tip is designed primarily for filtration.

Paper tips mainly provide shape and block larger particles. Glass tips focus on airflow and reusability, while activated carbon filters add another level of filtration. Size and internal structure can also change draw resistance and overall feel.

☁️ PAPER TIPS｜Simple & Familiar

RAW / BLAZY SUSAN

Affordable, easy to shape and available in different widths and formats. Their main purpose is structure and blocking larger particles rather than filtration.

PURIZE

PURIZE uses coconut-shell activated carbon to adsorb and reduce some unwanted substances while creating a smoother intake. Multiple diameters and lengths are available, with pre-rolled construction making them easy to use.

Like many people, we started with regular paper tips. Once we properly tried PURIZE activated carbon filters, it was difficult to go back. Beyond the convenience, the overall mouthfeel feels noticeably better, with a cleaner sensation after filtration.

For Daily Users, reducing exposure to some unwanted substances is naturally worth considering; even for occasional use, less irritation can make the overall experience feel noticeably smoother.

Other options have their own strengths: paper tips are the simplest to use, flavoured filters offer a stronger flavour hit, while glass tips stand out for airflow, craftsmanship and reusability.

If we could only choose one, it would still be PURIZE. It costs more, but the combination of convenience, overall experience and filtration makes it the most complete option. We’ll cover PURIZE sizes and versions separately.
